"Patsy, the character I played in Absolutely Fabulous, was a national treasure - people liked her because she was so revolting. The two of them [Patsy and Jennifer Saunders' Edina] were ghastly about everything. They were avaricious but also very, very funny and playing Patsy was the best fun in the world. Jennifer and I have talked about doing it again, but the trust is that it's in her hands."

So, with the untimely and sad demise of Jam and Jerusalem, could the girls be on top again? Fingers crossed!

I wonder if Jennifer has moved past Ab Fab. I watched Jam and Jerusalem on you tube it was exceptional! i can understand how making more Ab Fab may feel like moving backwards mainly because Jennifer is no longer in the throws of London life since moving to Devon.
Here in America comedy is nothing like English comedy. I really wish Jennifer and Dawn could cross over into American mainstream. But that may not be possible because of the serious bible belt mentality.
As far as Absolutely Fabulous. I SO would love more of them. Seeing Edina move into this stale as day old bread era frankly would be awesome. Idiosyncratic people need a role model! ...Why oh Why..do we have to be with out Ab Fab?!
