enya parody ???

hello !
I'm a french fan of F&S since many years and I was thinking that is was "strange" that our favorites comics haven't done a parody of Enya , because there's a lot of things they could do about the style of that singer ! I wanted to send the Idea to them but I don't know how to do , I would see very well jennifer or dawn singing a song about all the "sickness" (?) with their Latin names and the chorus would be " mea culpa !" , or singing , when the snow down, "c'est noël , c'est noël" (here in france , when the song out , every body believe that she was singing that instead of "sail away , sail away"!)

sorry for my bad english ! I would say that you are lucky to understand everything on tv , because I have to translate all in my mind, I miss funny things sometimes ...

Salut Nonent!

Seem this forum is pretty quiet.

F&S did mention Enya in their 'Raspberries' parody (of the Cranberries), saying that Jennifer (Delores O'Riordan) "...sounds like bloody Enya..."

However Enya's popularity has waned a lot since the 80s/90s so it would be likely that even if F&S did a parody few would know who it was about. I'm actually a big fan of Enya's but she is an album seller for those who know her already more than a pop artist. I, like you, would love to see such a parody but alas it isn't to be :)

Since F&S have now ditched the sketches, they won't do it now. Maybe back in her day they should have.
